How to Live Longer

1 Mar

I came across this video via my good friend Reid Rolls on Saturday morning. I watched it based on his words

“please, if you have kids, watch this. incredible.”

I am so thrilled to find that someone out there is actively working to change an issue very close to my heart.

An issue that is VERY EASY for each and every one of us to make an impact on right now.

Jamie Oliver shows us just how easy it is for each one of us to keep our children’s bodies healthy through good food, education and to alter the obesity statistics in America, England….whatever country you’re living in right now.

Please take the time to watch this. It is important.

If you agree with me after watching this you can sign Jamie’s Food Revolution Petition HERE

such an important issue! thanks for sharing this…it’s a struggle for me to be healthy every day and i grew up in a health-focused, cooking home. i can only imagine how difficult it would be for someone without that history…but luckily with education anything is possible (and pretty easy too).

      Thanks for your comment Rachael.
I also find it tough to stick to healthy living and I, like you grew up with great home cooked meals every day. I love that Jamie shares the quick, easy and healthy cooking tips. I hope his Food Revolution works the wonders it’s capable of :) )))

TED has umpteen thousand brilliant talks… I’m currently on a mission to watch every single one of them. Only about 500 left to go.

    One of my favorites… http://www.ted.com/talks/adam_savage_s_obsessions.html

It’s not a TED wish, like Jamie’s, so it’s not going to change the world. But it’s completely enthralling, and inspiring as a creative person.

I’ve also linked a few other fantastic talks on my fb page.

Also inspiring- actually nearly brought me to tears, and i don’t cry… http://www.ted.com/talks/aimee_mullins_the_opportunity_of_adversity.html
